“We are very grateful for being allowed to plant Peace Poles in the August 7th Memorial Park Garden. We hope that by planting a Peace Pole at the Park we would actually be contributing in spreading the peace initiative to different parts of the world. This is my second time to visit African countries. I visited Mozambique and Malawi to plant Peace Poles in 2006”, said Etsuko.
